The last few years have been very peculiar. Much has changed, and then the pandemic began. From these problems that hit the world head-on, new images have emerged.
The Pyramid

The image of geometric stability, of perfection. Like the pyramids of Egypt that have stood for so many years and are considered the first wonder of the world. My pyramid represents the four elements of the world’s creation. We only see two: Earth with its trees, and metal. Metal, the progress of industry, which is like a web of spider threads trying to encircle everything. The pyramid serves as a base for the connection of a feminine essence, the Sphere, and a masculine essence, the Square.
Only when these two beginnings are united can the human race continue. The fish is a symbol of discord, of the decadence of society, and I hope we do not fall under the influence of this discord.
The Dreamer

This is a return to one of my old themes, to the drawing ‘Happy Beast’. I am very fond of this theme and enjoy drawing it. And each time, it ‘comes out’ completely different.
Before you, in the painting, is our society, with its manners and its sins. It is so diverse that everything is found in this swamp. But one of them thought, ‘I am the smartest and the best of all. I will be higher than all the others.’ Fool, he can only dream of it; he does not understand that sooner or later, he will have to come down. Indeed, a man cannot live without society, whatever it may be.
For the future, I hope to have the health and strength necessary to continue this series, as I feel there are still things to be said and painted.

The Force of Life

The painting, ‘The Force of Life’, is simply an Ode to Life. The will of all life on earth to survive, the will of all life to wait for the light.
The Tower
In this work, I was thinking that we are the creators of our lives; you are the architect of your Tower. Your skill will determine whether it remains standing. As an example, I took the Leaning Tower of Pisa, a brilliant structure. Of course, to build your Tower, you have to go through many things and have the means, but not only that. The most important thing, in my opinion, is the strength of spirit, and building without worrying about obstacles. For example, like the misfortune and illness that lurk around. You rise higher and higher and you reach your goal.

I have always wondered about the Roman Empire and its fall. They had a great organization and a solid system, in their view, and yet all of it disappeared. Probably because they had too much ambition, or too much selfishness. Will the same thing happen to us? Why, before creating something new, do we destroy the old, despite all the genius of the construction? Perhaps because there are two personalities fighting within a man. One is creative, the other is destructive.
